Welcome to the world Beyond
The Ascended is a collaborative, episodic fantasy project by two queer writers, Auraboo and Tehri, following the trials and tribulations of six unlikely individuals in a world where the gods themselves are starting to break the rules.
The Ascended is intended for mature audiences and focuses on adult characters. Explicit chapters are marked as +18.
The following content warning apply to the project as a whole: sexual content, violence, injuries, gore, death, strong language.
Reader discretion strongly encouraged. Don't like, don't read.
Recent updates:
- 23rd August 2025: Chapter 9 added! Plus, there's a brand new page for extra content, more art in the gallery, and Tariya has her own intro page!
- 25th July 2025: Chapter 8 added, gallery updated + convention news! We are at Ropecon, Helsinki, Finland showcasing the first book of The Ascended in person, with a bunch of other fun things. We're table E003 in Hall 6 all weekend, Friday though Sunday!
- 4th July 2025: Chapter 7 added!
- 6th May 2025: Big site rehaul, most content should now be mobile responsive. Some new art added in the gallery as well.
- 4th April 2025: First chapter of Act 1 and two new artworks added!
